Naish, George Prideaux Brabant, 1909-1977.
This sub-collection consists of papers reflecting Naish's research interests between 1935 and 1977, and original material he collected, including logs and letterbooks from the career of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Nowell Salmon (1835-1912). There are also some papers relating to Naish's command of the Anti-Submarine Fixed Defence Station at Fort Agami, Alexandria, between 1945 and 1946. Papers relating to his role as secretary to the Society for Nautical Research between 1947 and 1977 may be found in the records numbered with the prefix SNR in the Archive Catalogue.
