Amazon (1865)
Scale 1:48. Plan shows the sheer lines, longitudinal half breadth and the body plan design drawing for the Amazon class screw sloop Amazon (1865). The drawing is fragile, torn and the corner is missing. An Admiralty Minute Board stamp, dated 7 April 1864 is printed on the drawing. The drawing bears the signature of Sir Edward James Reed [Chiff Constructor 1863-1870], Robert Spencer Robinson [Controller of the Navy 1861-1872]. Vice Admiral Sir Frederick Grey [First Naval Lord 1861-1866], Rear Admiral Sir Clarence Paget [First Secretary of the Admiralty 1859-1866].
