Archer (1885)

Scale 1:12. Plan shows the proposed fighrehead of an Archer and bow decoration, subsequently simplified in red ink for the Archer class torpedo cruiser Archer (1885). A note in red ink states "The whole of this work to be simplified as much a spossible, only the bolder portions of the carving to be fitted. The drawing was noted at Devonport Dockyard, dated 3 August 1886 and is singed by J. B. Huddy [Cheif Constructor at Devonport Dockyard `1886-1892].
