Scale 1:48. A plan showing the fore/aft body, sheer lines and longitudinal half-breadth of the aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal (1937). This is a preliminary design drafted in 1934, and alterations can be seen in pencil. The drawing has been signed by Arthur W. Johns, Director of Naval Construction.
