Plate
A white porcelain plate with a slightly indented gilt rim, as used on the royal yachts. There is a thin blue line around the edge. On the base is a date mark and an impressed maker's mark. The retailer's mark is a printed garter badge with a queen's crown above, inscribed 'J. WHITMAN COWES ROYAL YACHT'. There are 21 similar items in the collections AA5434-AAA5454.
