Earthenware plate, decorated with a coloured print of Edward VIII (1894-1972), head and shoulders, in naval uniform, the oval portrait flanked by the Red ensign and Union Flag. On a ribbon above, the inscription 'H.M. KING EDWARD VIII', below 'ACCESSION 21.1.1936'. The plate has a blue line painted around the rim.
