Dish

White vegetable dish with a lid and a strainer, made for the yacht 'Island Home' 1871, belonging to the Royal Thames Yacht Club. Transfer-printed in blue with a Japanese style pattern of a bird on a branch. It has rectangular handles decorated with beading. The dish is inscribed on the lid and base: 'R.T.Y.C. ISLAND HOME'. The maker's name is printed and impressed on the base.
