7 page specifications for building Tartarus (1834), a paddle gun vessel (SV4 from 1837, reclassed as First Class SGVs in 1844) in Pembroke Dockyard, dated June 1833 and unsigned.
In addition are two drawings:
- "Sketch description of the Main Deck over the Engine Room of the Tartarus Steam Vessel" - Somerset House - 7 February 1837 - Signed by William Symonds, Surveyor of the Navy.
- "Sketch of the Diagonal Planking for the Blazer" - Somerset House - 6 Febrary 1834 - Signed by William Symonds, Surveyor of the Navy [Blazer (1834) - Tartarus Class].
