Notes on the plan read as follows:
'Copy of the State Cabin Deck and the Lower Deck plan sent to Portsmouth 27 June 1856 for adapting the 'Osborne' [ex 'Victoria & Albert'] to the use of the Admiralty'.
'Sketch shewing the Bulkheads in the fore cabin on the Starboard side to be removed sent to Portsmouth 10 July 1856'.
