A note on the plan reads 'A draught for building in His Majesties Yard at Plymouth a yacht for the use of the Commissioners at that Port in pursuance of an Order from the Rt Hon the Lords Comm'rs of the Admiralty Dated the 19th October last'. The note has been signed by John Henslow [Surveyor of the Navy from 1774 to 1806] and William Rule [Surveyor of the Navy from 1793 to 1813].
