Unloading the catch in Lowestoft Harbour, with the South Pier Pavillion in the background.

A view from the quayside looking south, with the South Pier Pavillion in the background. Men gathered on a wooden quay in the outer harbour during the landing of the catch. A number of boxes of fish are on the quay together with some empty wicker baskets. The vessels moored bow on to the quay are sailing trawlers but the vessel in the centre is a Yarmouth steam drifter 'Garnet' (1885) [YH991].
