Album relating to the naval service of Captain David Bruce Nicol, 1906-1917
A photograph album with maroon board covers, containing 124 photographs pasted in (although many of the early ones have faded).
Nicol was a midshipman on HMS Hibernia (1905) in 1907, and a lieutenant on HMS Victorious (1895) in 1908. He retired as a Captain on 2nd March 1934.
The album includes the following vessels: HMS Hibernia (1905), HMS Victorious (1895), HMTB 058 (1886).
A note in the album (GAOs hand) states "Bequest from Capt Nicol 11/73".
