Album relating to Staff Surgeon N. B. V. Jacob RN (retired 1917)
An album which has the covers missing, the spine broken and the leaves loose, and contains 132 photographs glued in, many of which have a non-maritime theme.
This is a family album including Jacob's naval career from 1905-12.
As well as including Yangtzi, the album also features the following vessels: HMS Jupiter (1895) which he joined 20/9/1905; HMS Woodcock (1898) which he joined 14/1/1908; HMS Monmouth (1901); HMS Royal Arthur (1891) in 1908.
