Captain Worsley standing by a large pressure ridge
A view of one of the many pressure ridges lifted above the level of the ice floe. Captain Frank Worsley can be seen standing to one side looking up that ridge. Hurley used him to illustrate the size of ice hummocks and pressure ridges.
