Medal cast
Commemorative medal reverse side. Reverse: Britannia with a spear in her right hand and her left resting on her shield, seated at the foot of a rock; a three-masted ship in foreground, others in distance, the sun shining above. Legend: 'FAVENTE DEO.' (God being propitious.) Exergue: 'BRITANNIA.' The cast was mounted on an emulsioned plywood backboard with a label (the cast is now loose).
