Eliptical planispheric world map, with its prime meridian about 4 degrees east of the Canary Islands or Cape Verde. The latitude scales include climatic zones. There is a note on how to find distances at bottom left and a dedication at bottom right (obscured by damage) to Bartholamio ....o getilhomo .... The map is decorated with ships and abundant fantastic sea- and land-creatures and there are wind heads in the top corners. See also PBC3995(4).
