Single sheet. Engraving printed on vellum, hand coloured in outline. Mercator projection with Tenerife as the prime meridian. Areas covered include Newfoundland, the River Plate and Cape Horn. The chart is decorated with ships, shields, figures, animals and birds.
Similar to the western half of Doncker's chart of the Atlantic, G213:1/3. This chart is cut along a rough vertical line just to the west of the meridian of Tenerife. (Goos has less information about the Grand Banks than Doncker.).
