A chart of the Straits of Magellan. Inlarged from the chart published at Madrid in 1769, by Don Juan de la Cruz Cano y Olmedilla of the Royal Academy of St. Fernando. and improved from the observations and surveys of Captns. Byron, Wallis and Carteret compared with those of Monsr. de Bougainville.
Single sheet. Hand col. engr. Medium: 2 sheets joined at vertical centre-fold. Scale: [ca. 1:1 000 000]. Cartographic Note: Graduated for lat & long. Meridians of London and Ferro. Plane projection, rhumbs. Variation, set, soundings and shallows marked. Additional Places: Tierra del Fuego, Falkland Islands.
