A photograph album rebound in new boards, with individual leaves bound with patent (screw) fastening. There are 62 leaves and 147 prints of various sizes (some panoramas) pasted down and captioned.
This album is dated 1872-81 and includes the following vessels: HMS Ocean (1863), HMS Invincible (1869), HMS Spartan (1868), HMS Bellerphon (1865), HMS Excellent in July 1875, HMS Shah (1873), HMS Rocket (1868).
Also included are the following locations: Singapore, Malta, Bermuda, Port Royal (Jamaica), St Johns (Newfoundland), Santa Marta, Coquimbo, Callao, Esquimalt, Victoria (British Columbia), Montreal.
