A close view of the bow of the battleship HMS King George V (1939), taken from the port side. The damage visible at the prow was sustained in a collision with the destroyer HMS Punjabi (1937) on the 1st of May 1942. The photograph was taken in Seidisfjord, Iceland some days after the event.
