Record of naval gunnery in action relating to six British battlecruisers: HMS LION, HMS PRINCESS ROYAL, HMS TIGER, HMS NEW ZEALAND, HMS INDOMITABLE and HMS INFLEXIBLE. A range of hand-written columns provide timings, technical range-finding data and brief accompanying remarks. A connection to the Battle of Jutland is likely, not least the particular British warships that appear, and the duration of the engagement as described. In addition, mention is made of the German battle cruiser LUTZOW, which was commissioned only a few months before Jutland, and was damaged beyond recovery during the battle.
