A ship’s biscuit with a label written in 19th century hand that was taken on Willaim Parry's 1821-1823 Arctic expedition. The label reads: 'BISCUIT WHICH HAD… VOYAGE TOWARDS THE NORTH POLE …1821 RETURNED 1823 – CAPTAIN PARRY H.M.S. HECLA.’.
