A white ironstone china fruit stand, with green chain link decoration printed on the edge of the bowl and stand and gold rims. In the centre, printed in green, is a house flag within a garter inscribed 'TELEGRAPH CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTAINANCE COMPANY LIMITED'. The house flag of this company is white, with a red saltire overall and the blue letters 'T C & M C'.
