Figure
        
        A Staffordshire, full-length figure of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). He leans on a sword which is moulded into the base and painted gold. A similarly moulded grey anchor is placed on the other side. The figure wears pink breeches and a green sash, the orders and lace of the blue coat and hat are picked out in gold. The body is porcelain, moulded with a hollow base. The left arm and leg of the figure in high relief.
