Dido (1836); Daphne (1838)

Scale: 1:24. Plan showing the midship section and part frame elevation for Dido (1836) and Daphne (1838), both 18-gun Corvettes (ship sloops). This is a 19th Century copy of a draught dated 1834, and may have been a copy for the yard. There is evidence of pricking, which was a common method of copying plans. The plan illustrates the iron knees and iron pillars and other fittings for the two ships.
