Heavy seas breaking over the port side of HMS 'Aurora' (1913)
A view taken from the Forecastle next to the Bridge looking down the length of the port side of HMS 'Aurora' (1913), a light cruiser, when underway at sea. The waves can be seen breaking over the deck, obscuring the middle 4 inch gun. In the foreground is the forward 4 inch gun trained forward. The spray from the waves indicates that there is quite a high wind.
