Figure group

A Staffordshire flat back figure group, inscribed in gold lettering on the base 'Death of Nelson'. The admiral, eyes closed, clad in mottled pink breeches, his hat on the deck, is supported by two naval officers in blue uniform coats, black hats and boots. The details of the coats are picked out in gold.The left-hand officer, who has a moustache, rests his hand on Nelson's shoulder, the right hand officer lays his hand on Nelson's forehead.
