Necklace

Necklace with boar’s tusk pendant from Papua New Guinea, on blue synthetic string. The beads made from circular cut outs of plastic packaging (Johnson’s lotion and Nestle logos are still on the plastic). In the centre, animal fur is applied over the gum holding the tusks together. Formerly in the collections of the London Missionary Society.
