Slit gong

Slit gong/drum with beaters. A musical instrument like a wood block. This very small one is made as a souvenir. A dolphin is carved on the side and the upper surface is inlaid with shell. The surface is stained. Formerly in the collections of the London Missionary Society later the Council of World Mission.
