Lens
Two pairs lenses in wooden holders. One pair was used with the declination magnometer and the other with the horizontal force magnetometer, at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich.
Labels on one wooden holder: "138"; "Lenses used for the photographic record of the Horizontal Force Magnetometer. Introduced probably in 1848; Put out of use 1880. November."
Labels on the other wooden holder: "139"; "Lenses used for the photographic record of the Declination Magnetimeter. Instrocued probably in 1848; Put out of use 1880. November.
