Medal from the Board of Education Ireland awarded to Dr Attracta Rewcastle (1897-1951). Obverse: A crowned shield bearing an Irish harp within a trefoil decorated with shamrocks. Legend: 'AWARDED BY THE BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE EDUCATION IRELAND.' Reverse: Within a wreath of olive and shamrock, incuse: 'SENIOR GRADE / ATTRACTA G. CAHOUN / FIRST / IN IRISH / 1915.' With a suspension ring.
