The monitor HMS 'Abercrombie' (1915) underway at Milford

A port quarter view of the monitor HMS 'Abercrombie' (1915) under way at Milford Haven. On 6 June she conducted speed trials after having her propellers replaced at Avonmouth. Further work was carried out in Pembroke Dockyard. She departed for the Dardanelles on 24 June.

Aurora arrived at Milford Haven on the evening of 15 June 1915 and moved to Pembroke on 17 June before a quick voyage to Portishead. She finally left Milford Haven for Devonport on 25 June.

The image is slightly out of focus with some lines on the negative.
