A porcelain figure inscribed on the base 'Admiral 1757 Royal Navy'. He is wearing flag officer's undress uniform 1748-1767 pattern and has a blue coat with white cuffs and lapels, blue breeches, white stockings and waistcoat and a black hat. The gold lace on the coat, waistcoat and hat is represented by gilding. The officer is shown with his left hand in his waistcoat pocket and his right hand on his sword. His coat tails are buttoned back. One of a series of figures illustrating the development of British naval uniform with the maker's mark 'FM Made at Dresden' on the base.
