The Sopwith Schneider bi-plane seaplane No. 1557 in flight over the estuary, Harwich. Ships and barges are at moorings or anchor in the distance.

The plane was delivered to Felixstowe on 2 May 1915 and badly damaged on 6 June before being deleted from the lists on 7 June.

The negative has scratches and some silver mirroring on it.
