A peaked stern Twaqo type junk berthed at Singapore

A starboard bow view, taken from close to the bow, of a peaked stern Twaqo type junk almost dried out alongside a berth at Singapore. The vessel is three masted and has an accommodation shelter aft. The bow has an occuli and the hull has painted decorations on it. The tops of the fore and mainmasts are out of the picture. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
