A ketch rigged lighter under sail at Penang
A slightly distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of a two masted lighter under sail at Penang. She has a ketch rig and she has set a staysail and a loose-footed mainsail. Her mizzen sail is stowed. She is lightly laden and has three men on deck. A deep-sea passenger/cargo ship is in the background. The photographer was at Penang from 28 February to 7 March 1938. Negatives numbers P34041 and P34042 are of the same vessel.
