A starboard quarter view of a five masted Pechili trader type junk at anchor in the Gulf of Chihli or Weihaiwei. She has a lug sail hoisted at her mizzen mast; the remainder of her sails are stowed. A small boat is alongside. The photographer's ship was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 to 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938. A vertical format negative.
