        A close view of the port bow of a Ta-Pu-To trader type junk anchored with other junks at Shanghai.  She has a flat bow, an occuli painted near the waterline and her sails are stowed fore and aft.  The photographer was serving on the China Station from 6 May 1937 to 12 September 1938.
