A starboard near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of an Antung trader type junk anchored at Weihaiwei. Her sails are stowed fore and aft and she has a large number of poles lashed to her hull. The photographer was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 to 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938.
