A starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of a Foochow pole junk (trader) anchored at Weihaiwei. her bow appears to be stove in, possibly as the result of a collision and she is surrounded by a large number of sampans and other small craft. Her sails are stowed. The photographer was in the area in the periods 3 June to 7 October 1937 and 8 June to 4 September 1938. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P34437 and P34443 are also of this vessel.
