A close starboard side view, taken from close to the stern looking forward, of the Foochow pole junk (trader) 3179 anchored at Weihaiwei. Her fore and main sails are stowed and the top of her mainmast is out of the picture, as is all of her stern. The photographer was in the area in the periods 3 June to 7 October 1937 and 8 June to 4 September 1938. Negatives numbers P34519 to P34540 are all of this vessel taken on the same occasion.
