Mug
Earthenware mask mug moulded as an officer's head intended to represent Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). It is painted in Pratt ware colours. The figure is wearing an ochre coat with blue facings and the hair and pigtail are painted brown. 'Admiral Nelson' is moulded on a band around the rim, the letters painted in ochre. The remainder of the rim has a border of green foliage and the handle is decorated with brown lines.
