Toothpick case
Toothpick case commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The ivory case is decorated in gold piqué work on the lid with a weeping willow, and a monument with an urn. The initials 'HN' are picked out in small white beads and set into the plinth under glass on a blue background. The case is lined with velvet and has no mirror inside.
