Bonbonniere

A bonbonniere with the outside decorated as a celestial globe. The globe is blue with gold stars and a gold-coloured metal band around the centre with a hinge. The inside is enamelled in white and has a bust-length, line portrait of Edmond Halley with the inscription "Edmond Halley 1656 - 1742" near the hinge. Below the hinge is the inscription "Halley's Comet 1986".
