A fan with a solid bamboo handle, split to form the supports for the paper. The design is printed in pink crimson and turquoise and shows a fish swimming among iris flowers. Printed in black on the reverse: 'Union Castle Line of Steamers to South Africa'. 'Made in Japan.'
