Wooden diary bowl commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The Trafalgar signal is carved around the rim 'ENGLAND . EXPECTS . THAT . EVERY . MAN . WILL . DO . HIS . DUTY', 'TRAFALGAR 1805'. The exterior is carved with a figure of Nelson and HMS 'Victory'.
