Portrait plaque depicting Captain James Fitzjames (1813 - circa 1847). An oval plaster relief showing the head and shoulders of Fitzjames, hatless, in uniforn and facing right. It is in a square, gilt wooden frame, decorated with rope twist, with buoys in the corners. Inscribed: 'CAPT JAMES FITZJAMES RN'.
