Doctor Harrison
Vitreous paste plaque depicting clockmaker John Harrison (1693-1776). He is shown in profile facing left, wearing a short curly wig, collarless coat and cravat. The plaque is signed 'Tassie F' below the shoulder. It is mounted in a pearwood frame with a small loop of metal at the top for a suspension hook and is backed with brown paper.
