Portrait plaque depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A gilt-metal profile of Nelson facing left, head and shoulders view, in uniform without a hat. Crossed gilt laurel branches are placed below. The whole is circular in shape, mounted on red velvet in a square black frame with a suspension ring with a foul anchor attachment.
