Portrait plaque
Portrait plaque depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A gilt metal, embossed plaque mounted on a circular, black-painted wooden base. It depicts Nelson in uniform, facing left, head and shoulders with the shoulders draped, inscribed: 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON'. It has a border of acorns and oak leaves and an outer border in a plain weave pattern.
